DuVall earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at Washington State University where he formerly served as the Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.He is active in anesthesia clinical practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He has published in Nurse Educator and has recently received a grant from Merck Pharmaceuticals to study patterns of neuromuscular blockade monitoring in the operating room in an effort to improve quality of care. Washington State University College of Nursing is pleased to announce it has hired Darryl Duvall to serve as the program director for the college’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.

Kupas, MD, EMT-P, is the commonwealth EMS medical director for the Bureau of EMS at the Pennsylvania Department of Health and also serves as associate chief academic officer for simulation and medical education for the Geisinger Health System.He is the Professor of Emergency Medicine and Associate Dean for Geisinger Campus-Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.Dr. Kupas graduated from the Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Medical College in 1990. Christian Byhahn has been appointed extraordinary professor at the University of Oldenburg last year. Byhahn studied medicine in Frankfurt am Main. Since 2013 he is the chief physician at the Oldenburg Evangelical Hospital, from 1999 to 2013 he worked at the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Therapy at the University Hospital Frankfurt am Main and most recently since 2009 as managing director and senior physician. Byhahn has completed a vocational training as a rescue assistant, further training courses for emergency medicine and intensive care, as well as a graduate course "Business Administration for Physicians", which he completed with certification as a health economist.In 2012 the he received the "Michael-Strumpf-Rhetorikpreis". In 2008 he was awarded the prize for excellent teaching by the Faculty of Human Medicine at the University of Frankfurt. He is the author of numerous specialist articles as well as textbooks and has been responsible for expedition cruises and extreme sports events in polar regions for many years.

Isabel Coetzee is a Senior lecturer, Department of Nursing Science at University of Pretoria for past 19 years. She published 16 Articles since 2010. Tertiary experience includes Presenting Post graduate diploma in Critical care for past 19 years, Medical and surgical nursing science for pre-graduate second year students, Research methodology Master students and she is the Coordinator for PhD programme. She Completed 30 Master students since 2009, 2 PhD candidates and currently supervising 10 Masters and 7 PhD students. She has done her PhD (UNISA) in 2010. She played a role of an examiner examined approximately 25 masters’ degree and 11 PhD Candidates since 2011. She received the Critical Care Society of South Africa`s Presidents` Nursing Award for outstanding contribution to Critical Care (2013), Inaugurated as a Fellow of the Academy of Nursing in South Africa (FANSA) (2015) and South African representative of the World Federation of Critical Care 2017-2020.

Dr. Rega’s is the Director of Disaster Medicine Curriculum, EM Residency Assistant Professor, Dept of Emergency Medicine.His activities have been concentrated in education and research at the University of Toledo College of Medicine where he is an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine and the Department of Emergency Medicine. He has been an emergency physician for over thirty years and has been board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine until his retirement. He currently has a number of semester courses relating to pandemics, global health, and disasters. Virtually all of his educational endeavors are multidisciplinary in nature (Medicine, Nursing, PA, Pharmacology, and Public Health) and make extensive use of simulation (Table-top and Functional exercises, High-Fidelity Simulations, Hybrid simulations, etc.). This association with the university has also resulted in a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and grants associated with disaster medicine, simulation medicine, and pandemic preparedness and response.

Evridiki Papastavrou is an Associate Professor, Chair at Department of Nursing. She is the Faculty of Health Sciences, Cyprus University of Technology. She holds a PhD and a Masters Degree in Nursing (University of Athens and University of Manchester) and a degree in Public Administration. She served as a President of the Nursing and Midwifery regulatory body in Cyprus for 6 years (2006-2012) and is an active member of the National Alzheimer’s committee of experts. She also served as a consultant for the evaluation of nursing education programs in Cyprus and in European peer assessment missions concerning the recognition of professional qualifications.
