Rome International comparisons of Hospitals

Hospitals in the Italy are mostly privately run and only for profit, as are the insurance companies. The Italy has been in the top three countries in every report they have published since 2005. There are nearly more than 15000 nursing hospitals in world; Europe 8625 in which Italy has a network of 480 primary care centers and UK covers about 1600.On 48 indicators such as patient rights and information, accessibility, prevention and outcomes, the Italy secured its top position among 37 European countries for the fifth year in a row. The Italy was also ranked first in a study comparing the health care systems of the United States, Australia, Canada, Germany and New Zealand.

Growth of research and Sales:

Half of the nurses took one or more courses before starting work in nursing in Italy. Supply and Demand through 2020 analyzes the growing need for qualified nurses. The study projects that the economy will create 1.6 million job openings for nurses through 2020. According to the Kindred Nursing at LTAC hospitals, a happy nursing staff contributes to a healthy and rewarding work environment.  Satisfaction  levels  for registered  nurses,  licensed  practical  nurses, and certified nursing assistants all continue to improve with 2009 RN satisfaction rates at  nearly  70  percent  and  CNA  satisfaction registering at almost 76 percent. The average age of kindred nurse is 43% in 2009 and will increase accordingly by 2019. Out of 100%, there are 15% male nurses and 85% female nurses. The WHO encourages relevant stakeholders to adhere to the 2011–2015 SDNM vision statement and commit to “improving health outcomes for individuals, families and communities through the provision of competent, culturally sensitive, evidence-based nursing and midwifery services. Key stakeholders (national nurses‟ associations (NNAs), governments and independent organizations) in England, Northern Ireland, the United States, Italy, Spain, UK, Canada and New Zealand have each produced a national strategic blueprint outlining how nurses and the profession need to transform. The current Coalition Government has also made commitments to nursing by promising to create 4,200 extra health visitor roles by 2015 to support families and new parents; set up a Nursing and Care Quality Forum with the aim of improving nursing quality of care across all care sectors. All vision strategies like Canada, U.S., England, Northern Ireland and New Zealand have made it a priority to enhance education and training systems. The Global Strategy on Human Resources for Health: Workforce 2030 (3) provides the foundation for the Global strategic directions for strengthening nursing and midwifery 2016–2020. The shortage of nurses and midwives will see a modest decline that is to 7.6 million by 2030, but not in the African and Eastern Mediterranean Regions. As an example, it is projected that by 2050 the proportion of the world’s population aged over 60 years will nearly double from 12% to 22%.Noncommunicable diseases account for 38 million deaths each year (with 28 million of them in low- and middle-income countries), while cardiovascular diseases account for 17.5 million, cancers 8.2 million, respiratory diseases 4 million and diabetes 1.5 million. The implementation of various global strategies, such as the Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health 2016–2030 and the Mental Health Action Plan 2013–2020, will also depend to a large extent on the health workforce capacities of the nursing and midwifery workforce.

Geographical inequalities of health care labor supply are minor in a small country such as the Italy. However, regional differences in demographic development have an increasing impact on the demand for health services. Some regions, such as the southern part of the Limburg province, are ageing more rapidly than others and face a decline in population. From 2003 to 2009 Patient or family satisfaction scores by nursing professionals treatment includes Overall Care is 4.5, Pain Management 4.6,  Skill and Experience of Nursing Staff4.5 and  Call Light Response 4.2.. Total health spending as a percentage of GDP for Italy compared amongst various other first world nations from 2005 to 2015 in European region for the years 2005-2010 from different countries UK,  Germany, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Netherlands, and France ranges from 7.4 to 11.6.
